Fambam Hits: la Creperie San Juan

Our little fambam of three enjoys spending the  weekend bonding over food. Yes, even our 10-month-old little miss A is already a foodie. :D

So for our Sunday's foodie adventure, we went on a quick drive to San Juan to visit a quaint little place called La Creperie.

The entrance to La Creperie

I love all things pretty and dainty, and this place has just the right amount of both. It's perfect for a simple family lunch to a romantic dinner date for two.

"All we need id Love, and Paris." | Second Level of La Creperie

Their second level, which can comfortably fit 20-30 people, can also accomodate intimate gatherings with families and friends.

We went there a little past 2pm and we were the first ones to occupy the second level. As we were waiting for our food, people started coming in. Perfect timing for us, we got the table by the window.

Little Miss A was sleeping but eventually woke up when our food came, I've already mentioned she's a foodie right?. A kalatog-pinggan as commonly described in Tagalog. :D Our orders were served in these pretty dainty plates.

Pesto Cream Carbonara | 275Php
Emmental and Mozzarella Cheeseburger | Regular 295Php

The Pesto Cream Carbonara was pretty much straightforward - creamy pesto with ham and mushrooms. Not much to rave about but for the price, it was ok since it's good enough shared for two. We also ordered the Emmental and Mozzarella Cheeseburger. See, it's almost always that Mr. T and I share our food especially burgers. And I have to commend the service of La Creperie because not only did they split the burger, but made two pretty separate plates for it. Now this one was good, a hearty and beefy burger with a generous amount of emmental and mozzarella cheese. The serving was also good for sharing, hadn't we shared that plate of carbonara, I would've finished the whole plate. Fries included. Burp. :D

Halfway through our meals, Mr. T and I were talking if the place was really worth the visit. I was saying yes maybe, but a repeat? Maybe once every three months. Then our crêpes were served.

Double Chocolate Fudge Brownie | 235Php
Salidou | 145Php

My previous statement went down the drain when I finally tasted the Salidou - a simple  crêpe topped with homemade salted butter caramel and whipped cream. Mr. T gave me his scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was perfect, definitely love at first bite. The Double Chocolate Fudge Brownie for Mr. T did not disappoint as well, not too sweet and with just the right amount of darkness in it.

After we left, Mr. T and I were still talking about those crêpes and we've both agreed that we're not gonna go back there for meals, but for desserts instead. :)

  1. I love it there! Although I've only been able to go once coz it's so far away from our place. But the food is really so good. I had the burger too, and the salidou plus tea.
