We Love Human♡Nature! :)

It was during our first trimester when I encountered an article with a list of some ingredients found in beauty products that could be harmful to pregnant women. And some of those were found in the facial moisturizer I was using back then. With a little research, I stumbled upon Human Heart Nature (HHN) products. Two years later, I'm still using the same moisturizer, beauty oil plus more.

Here's a list of our much loved HHN products and know why we love  using them:

100% Natural Day Moisturizer - I don't really use a lot of facial products but there are three items I cannot live without - facial wash, scrub and a moisturizer. This HHN moisturizer feels really good on my skin because it's not sticky nor oily. I spend my whole day inside an air-conditioned office so just imagine how dry my skin can get. There were times when I would forget to moisturize and by lunchtime, my skin is already cracking. But with the HHN moisturizer, I only need to apply once in the morning and it lasts the whole day already.

Sunflower Beauty Oil - This one I used more when I was pregnant. See, Mr. T is not really fond of oils and lotions. He hates those sticky stuff. But this oil he didn't mind using while massaging my legs after a day's work specially when I was on my last trimester already. I also massaged this to my super stretched tummy everytime it itched. I love how my skin felt after using this oil, soft and smooth but not sticky nor greasy. Since it's an all-natural product, I also tried using it on Ava's legs to even out her skin from dark patches caused by insect bites. It worked for us because I saw the dark patches eventually lightened up to Ava's natural skin color.

When your child becomes mobile, you have to be ready with a lot of insect bites. The first few insect bites, you will question the universe how and why. Heck, you'll even chastise Yaya for it. Lol. But I guess insect bites are just part of childhood. So there's no use fussing over it. Just keep watch on the serious ones though.

Natural Baby Wash - I adore this product. It's our most valuable find amongst the HHN products we've used. We started using Aveeno when Ava was born. I can't remember how long we used it but I wasn't happy with it. Then we switched to Cetaphil. I know a lot of moms love these two products but they didn't seem to be giving the same results on Ava's skin. Then we tried a small bottle of this baby wash and voila! It was love at first wash. Lol. Ava's baby skin was soft and smooth all over. And good thing for us because it costs so much less than the first two we used. :)

Natural Baby Lotion - Same as our wash, we were originally using Aveeno for Ava's lotion, and as you know, with the same not-so-good results. So we also tried HHN and it was awesome too! Not only does it make Ava's skin smooth but it also leaves a light baby powder scent.

Natural Baby Wonder Oil - This is the third and last item on HHN's line of baby care products and similar to the other two, this one also gives Ava a soft, smooth and fresh smelling skin.

Again, when your baby becomes mobile, the time you spend on after-bath routines usually cuts down in half. So massages and putting some lotion on doesn't really happen all too well everytime. :D

Tough love 100% Natural Powder Detergent - Next to the baby wash, this is also a valuable find for us. I started using Perla on Ava's newborn clothes then eventually switched to Cycles. We used it until we started cloth diapering but I didn't like it because with just a small scoop, washing away the suds required so much effort. I had to strip Ava's cloth diapers with RLR so just imagine, I washed the soiled diapers with Cycles, rinsed it 3 times, then washed it with RLR and still got a lot of suds. I bought Tide Original the next day out of frustration. Tide Original did the job for a few months but I wasn't too keen on using it on Ava's diapers even if I know that they are being rinsed properly. I've been reading about Tough Love in one of my mommy forums so when I was looking for a new detergent, it was the first one I tried. And it was a good decision. Aside from doing it's main job of cleaning Ava's diapers, it also easily takes out the poop and pee stains. One thing I didn't like from the previous ones we've used is the detergent smell it leaves afterwards. Tough Love leaves zero detergent smell, just that fresh clean smell of a newly washed fabric. Like all HHN products, this is also made of all-natural components so it's not harsh on your hands unlike the other regular detergents. And the best part, I only need to rinse once (sometimes twice but that's the most) and all the suds are out. Not only am I saving a lot of time and effort but water too.

This is definitely not a sponsored post. I just want to share how much we love HHN and how it works for us. Maybe you can give it a try too. They are a lot cheaper compared to the similar products in the market but I really believe that they perform, if not equally, much better. And oh, did I mention that HHN products are proudly Pinoy made? You can check out their website and learn more about them and their products. They're pretty awesome. :)
