You The Mom!

Motherhood is a bit overwhelming. Ok, not just a bit but maybe a lot. But if you find the right people to help you or advise you, then it can turn the tables and reveal the real awesomeness of being a Mother. Long story short, I found mine in Mommy Mundo.

Mommy Mundo is the Philippines’ most extensive portal of mom and family-focused resources. Born out of a passion for motherhood, an advocacy for active parenting, and driven by a desire to help and provide support to mothers, Mommy Mundo aims to serve the information needs of moms not only through this online home, but through other forms of media such as print, web, events, and beyond. Mommy Mundo's Expomom "You The Mom!" in Glorietta

Awesome right? Yes but wait, there's more. Aside from the pop-up bazaars happening at Mommy Mundo's The Crib in Pasig, they have a bigger version of these bazaars happening in one bigger place, it's called Expomom and this year the tag is "You The Mom!". It was held in Glorietta 2 Activity Center and ran from May 16-18. Expomom is very dear to me because it's where I was introduced to a lot of new and better ways of being a mother. Most of the participating brands and stalls in the expo are mostly owned by mompreneurs. And these awesome moms know exactly what you're going through so you'll get a really more personalized service. And have I mentioned that you'll get awesome discounts during these periods especially if you are a Mommy Mundo passport holder.

In our previous visits, we were able to get baby carriers, nursing covers, breastfeeding accessories, baby clothes and shoes, lactation treats, cloth diapers and cloth diaper accessories. So just imagine the wide variety of items you can get from the expo. During our visit last Saturday, we were able to get these items. :)

Aside from the awesome shopping finds, there's also a schedule of activities per day. You can keep track of these schedules through Mommy Mundo's Facebook Page. These activities include fashion shows, product demos and the most noteworthy of all, talks conducted by experts and fellow moms. They cover a wide array of topics about parenting, from breastfeeding up to raising your kids and those in between. Perfect for new and first-time moms! :)

These are the things that we enjoy during Mommy Mundo's Expomoms. And we can't wait for the next one already. :)
